- The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration, has a requirement to troubleshoot and repair starboard and the port main propulsion motor on the Training Ship the State of Michigan. The vessel is located along side the pier at the Great Lakes Maritime Academy in Traverse City, Michigan. Solicitation DTMA4Q10066 will be issued on or about 9/17/10 and may be found at https://www.fbo.gov/ or http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Quotes due on 9/24/10. This requirement will be Set-Aside for Small Businesses under the NAICS Code 336611. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
