- This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of market research being conducted by the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential small businesses to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract for Audiology Services. Contractor shall provide health care providers, medical facilities, medical and other equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to create, implement and administer Audiology services and hearing aid dispensing services to meet the specific medical needs of the Veteran. Reference attached performance work statement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The applicable NAICS code is 621340, Audiologists' Offices (size standard $7.0). The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. If able to provide the requirement, submit three references to whom similar types of services have been previously provided to include contract number, dollar value, name and phone number of customer. The references must be relevant to the requirement and be within the last three years as of September 10, 2010. The references must also include a description of the services rendered under the contract and demonstrate ability to provide the service, to the service area. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. RESPONDENT WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS OF THE REVIEWS. All information submitted in response to this announcement must be received on or before the closing date.
