- RECOVERY - This action is funded through the American Recovery and Reimvestment Actof 2009. Task Order 810 will improve the capabilities of the Advanced Concepts FlightSimulator (ACFS). As a result of this task, the ACFS aerodynamics model will be enhancedwith a fly-by-wire flight control system and the aerodynamics model will be integratedwith key cockpit controls and instrumentation.These components will enable the advancedavionics capabilities for precision navigation necessary for piloted simulations thattest futuristic air traffic management concepts.<P>This award notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The task order is issued under anexisting cost reimbursement contract NNA05BE28C, which was made on a competitive basis.Due to the variability of this research and development work a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee typetask order was determined appropriate.
