Description
The Contracting Department, Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), San Diego, CA, 92134 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, for Commercial Items, for Annual Equipment Maintenance of Olympus Scopes located at Naval Medical Center Gastroenterology Clinic. The requirement calls for performance to commence 1 October, 2010 through 30 September 2011. Contractor is responsible for providing full maintenance support for all items / components of requirement. Vendor needs to provide services which include; on-site corrective repairs, normal working hour coverage (8:00AM to 4:30PM) Monday through Friday, excluding federal Holidays) and 24-hour emergency service and preventative maintenance services to all systems, subsystem components, and assemblies. All maintenance provisions shall apply to hardware, firmware, and software, as appropriate, unless otherwise stated. A complete RFQ package (N00259-10-T-0626) will be available on or around by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339112. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
