- The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Albany, NY has a requirement for a local Board Certified Ophthalmologist with specialty training in Glaucoma to provide quality clinical procedures, education and supervision to staff, medical students and residents services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Medical Center in Albany, New York. The proposed contract period shall be for a base period, October 15, 2010 (or date of contract award) through September 30, 2011, with two (2) one-year option periods. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. Contract performance is subject to award and availability of funds. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111 and the size standard is $10.0 million. The solicitation will be available on or about September 13, 2010. Offerors who have the ability to provide these services shall submit a WRITTEN REQUEST ONLY for the solicitation package.
