- Description
- The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide LifeFitness Cardio Equipment for Joint Base Andrews-NAF Washington, Maryland. This action will be set-aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423910 (Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers) with the business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is for Brand Name Only items. The basis for award will be LPTA. This is an unfunded requirement; an award will be made if funds become available. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 14 September 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the government to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purpose of the Government is to conduct other than full and open competitive procurement utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 procedures.
