Description
THIS NOTICE IS HEREBY CANCELLED. 55 CONS/LGCZ, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a two month sole source extension to Overlook Systems Technologies, Inc. under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor shall continue to provide Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) support to USSTRATCOM JFCC-SPACE/JNWC. The JNWC contract provides mission critical support services to JNWC for management, engineering, operations research and analysis, modeling and simulation, warfighter operations, training, exercises, intelligence analysis, data management, Information Technology (IT), administrative, security, and equipment management. Navigation Warfare (Navwar) involves offensive and defensive military operations to ensure accurate positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) information available from a broad range of PNT sources, while denying that information to adversaries and minimizing the impact to peaceful PNT users. Navwar effects are achieved by employing components of Information Operations, Electronic Warfare, Space Operations and Computer Network Operations, and are further supported by Spectrum Control measures and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The follow-on effort source selection will not be completed by the end of the current contract on 30 Sep 10. Therefore, the government intends this extension of the current contract to allow time for completion of the follow-on source selection. If your company can provide the services stated above at full performance starting 1 Oct 2010 through 30 Nov 2010, provide a capability package to the Contracting Officer and a copy to the Contract Specialist by the response date, 16 Sep 2010. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal or a solicitation for offerors. A determination by the government to not compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
