Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Mobile Device Monitoring Software This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) is seeking small business firms under NAICS Code 541519 that, if any, can provide mobile device monitoring software for 4,000 devices with 10 system admins. The software must support continuity of operations/continuity of business (COOP/COB) failover and meet the following features and capabilities: • Software must support BlackBerry Enterprise Servers (BES) and Good Mobile Messenger (GMM). • Software must monitor multiple BES and GMM domains from a single instance. • Software must analyze all BES and GMM log files continuously in real-time. • Software must provide unified web-based interface with single page view for BES/GMM monitoring solution. • Software must correlate problems across multiple BES/GMM, mail servers, carriers, and domains. • Software must provide automatic recommendations for BES/GMM tuning and optimization actions to improve performance and reduce outages. • Software must provide agent-less, low footprint monitoring solution for BlackBerry. • Software must provide optional On Device diagnostics and alerting. • Software must provide end-to-end monitoring including hop to hop email delivery breakdown, including Mail Server to BES/GMM, BES/GMM processing time, BES/GMM to device, for each user in real-time. • Software must provide the ability to view message flow of a user, view problem description, view recommended action, and take action with one click fix-it (such as reset passwords) from a single screen. • Software must provide long-term data collection and reporting. • On-site 1 day system admin training for 10 system admins. • Software installation and tuning support (4 days) • Quote must include 1 year annual software support/software maintenance (5x10 support). • The Government does not currently require security management modules. Small business firms interested in this requirement must identify their interest and capabilities with respect to this requirement by Monday, 13 SEP 2010 at 10:00 am (EST).
