- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Administrative Services (DAS), intends to procure the Granicus Open Platform suite of software tools that provides integrated video and meeting minutes in a webcast and archive of the webcast on a sole source basis. Granicus provides secure yet accessible archival storage for meeting broadcasts and integrated closed captions that are indexed to the broadcast video and the minutes, thus providing a seamless solution which is not only useful real time, but archived as well. The suite of software tools are unique, as the meeting creation capability is synchronized to the webcast video and the text based closed captioning that is able to be used by assistive technology. Granicus is the sole proprietor and copyright holder of the licenses software products. The period of performance will be October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 with one option year which will be October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
