- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials, parts, supervision transportation and other support and incidentals necessary to accomplish work on Solar Turbine Maintenance at the Total Energy Plant, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB TX. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Code - 3511, NAICS code - 333611, and related Small Business Standard - 1000. The contractor shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The proposed performance period is 1 Oct 2010 - 30 Sep 2011. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. The solicitation will be posted on or about 16 Sep 2010. A site visit will be held at Lackland AFB TX at 0900 hrs (Central Standard Time) on 21 Sep 2010. All interested parties shall submit their request not later than 17 Sep 2010 by 3:00 PM, Central Standard Time to Susan Edwards at susan.edwards@us.af.mil in order to process access to Lackland AFB TX. Requests shall include the names of the individual who will be in attendance and include the company name, their dates of birth, and state identification or driver's license numbers (include the state of issuance). All information submitted shall be protected in accordance with provisions under the Privacy Act of 1974. The offer due date will be 23 Sep 2010. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the requested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation.
