Description
This announcement is a brand name or equal request for quotes and any quotes received must meet the minimum specifications listed below for SUKO solid carbon sublimation source system for epitaxial graphene growth in order to be considered. The system must be compatible with the existing EPI model 930 MBE system which has the following technical specifications: 4.5" OD "ConFlat" mounting flange; nine source ports; ultra high vacuum compatible with a base vacuum pressure of less than 5x10^-11 Torr and modified to increase the sample growth temperature to 1600 degrees Celsius. The solid carbon sublimation source must meet the following requirements: elemental carbon sublimation source; Model DN63CF 4.5" OD ConFlat Mounting flange; 400mm internal (vacuum) length; pyrolytic graphite filament source; high carbon flux that shall grow 1nm of graphene in one hour; integrated manual source shutter; ultra high vacuum compatible; type C thermocouple; water cooled current feed through; to include power source for carbon filament and controller; to include all necessary cables; to include two each spare filament and replacement parts; and must demonstrate growth of graphene on SiC substrate. This solicitation is a request for quotations. All quotations shall indicate how product proposed meets specifications above in order to be considered. Pricing for shipping must be included and clearly stated in the quote. This RFQ is issued under simplified acquisition procedures. The size standard for this effort is 500 employees. NAICS 334516.
