- SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION. Skid Load: Maximum Total Size: 48 inches wide by 95 inches long Note: Components on skid are to be arranged to allow room for someone to step up onto the tank for easy access to the hose reel without having to step on or over the extended plumbing. Hose reel, power unit and pump, and control panel should all be mounted on the same side of the unit. Also, arrangement of the hose reel and fill tower should allow for about a 24 inch wide space for someone to sit on top of the water tank with their feet able to rest on a diamond plate covering. This covering will be sturdy enough to stand on and will cover the hoses and valves between the tank and pump. The covering will extend to the rear of the skid. This diamond plate cover will have sides a minimum of 8 inches tall also made of diamond plate to provide space to store tools and equipment. No battery will be required. Heavy duty wiring will be provided to allow the purchaser to run the wiring from skidload power unit to vehicle battery. The wiring provided will be 25 foot in length. All attempts will be made to keep the unit and accessories as compact as possible. This will allow us space to carry all other necessary tools needed for wildland firefighting. Unit will include the following: Pump and Power unit: 20HP Honda engine with centrifugal 2 inch suction x 1.5 inch discharge pump with performance capabilities of up to 119 gpm and pressures up to 330 psi. Will include: -Manual and electric start -Low oil shut down -Maintenance free drive assembly -Oil drain line (Ez-drain) -3 gallon fuel tank -USFS approved spark arrestor Tank: 150 Gallon Gator Poly tank with removable top. Furnished with bottom mount tabs. Constructed of in. UV-stabilized black poly. Glossy finish. Will include: - Stainless Flanges - 4 Sight gauge on water - 1/2 UV-Stabilized black poly - Baffled to NFPA specs. - 8 x 8 water fill tower w/latch -.5 full-poly top mounting pad - Reinforced poly corners covers for extended strength Plumbing: -Tank Fill - 1.5 inch Direct Hydrant Fill (NSTF) -Two Suctions: - 2 inch tank to pump - 2 inch overboard to draft suction -Two Discharges: - 1.5 inch overboard discharge outlet - 1 inch pump to reel live line -Pump to Tank Fill: - 1 inch to tank from pump (by-pass) -All valving to be full port brass ball valves -All hard plumbing to be stainless steel -All control valves to be accessed from rear of unit. -Flex hose installed between pump and plumbing to allow for quick pump end removal. -All flex hose to be internally expanded style couplings.
