- A picture of the reservoir the government intends to cover to deter birds. Requirement for bird deterrent balls at airfield: - 100 mm (4 in) Balls - Air filled - High Density Polyethelene (HDPE), black - Cover water area of 23,560 sq ft There is not a minimum diameter as long as they float and cover the entire area negating birds from landing or being attracted to the water. They will be required to float on a body of water on top of a vunyl cover. The area is a water reservoir for a golf course and the top have a cut that allows water to stay on top of the cover. The type of birds we are trying to keep out are ducks (Mallard hybrid), Hawaiian Stilts, Mynas, Pacific Golden Plovers, Doves, and Cattle Egrets. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Quote must be valid for 90 days. Attached is a picture of the reservoir.
