- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under RFQ N00189-10-T-0556. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The Contract Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to procure a Firm-Fixed Price Contract on a Brand Name or Equal basis only, the following item(s): one (1) Avtron LSH/D42423-1 Outdoor Resitive LoadBank and one (1) Wheel Kit. Any vendor(s) who can provide the BRAND NAME or EQUAL equipment are encouraged to submit a quote. NAICS 335312 (Motor and Generator Manufacturing), Size Standard 1,000 employees. Delivery will be 10 Weeks/ARO. FOB Destination to Victoria, Mahe Seychelles. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF 1449 which identifies the requested items, with their unit prices, extended prices, total price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D. #, Duns #, and Cage Code. Responses to this solicitation are due by Friday, 17 September 2010 at 12:00PM (EST). Salient Characteristics: Mahe Shipping U.S. Navy has a requirement for one (1) Avtron LSH/D42423-1 Outdoor Resitive LoadBank and one (1) wheel kit required for their generators. The LoadBank must be a variable, 3-phase load, capable of handling a minimum of100kW, 120/208 VAC or 240/416 VAC, Frequencies of 50/60/400Hz. The required LoadBank will also be need to be designed for outdoor use. Evaluation Factors for Award: -Technically acceptable in conformance to salient characteristics -Price Any proposal that does not provide, at a minimum, an answer to each requirement in this solicitation may be determined to be substantially incomplete and not warrant any further consideration.
