- The Indianapolis VA Medical Center, 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN has a requirement for an Electrical Preventative Maintenance contract on 14 power transformers (7 oil filled and 7 dry type); Routine maintenance and in-service testing of 28 ASCO automatic transfer switches maintenance and testing of automatic transfer switches; Preventive maintenance and testing of Automatic Paralleling Gear and Perform the infra-red scans of the electrical distribution system located at the VA Medical Center, 1481 W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. VA intends to award a base & four option years contract. Contract shall be for a Base period beginning from date of contract award through September 30, 2011, with four 1 year-options through September 30, 2015 with services provided at Indianapolis, Indiana. Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to perform the requested annual maintenance and testing of electrical equipment. NAICS code is 541330. The Small Business Size Standard is $4.5 million. This is an unrestrictive full and open competition. This process will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR Part 13. Solicitation documents will be available on or about September 10, 2010. Offers will be due on or before September 23, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. (CST).
