- Additional Information: 1. No Bond is required. 2. This is a Qty: Lump Sum bid. 3. There is an estimated 400 total acres to be treated within a 4,000 acre area. This includes 300 acres of scattered large thick patches and 100 scattered small thin patches of crown vetch/brome. The small areas will be treated first, as they occur in areas of high quality prairie. 4. 95% of the treated areas must show the crown vetch and/or brome has been killed as a result of the herbicide application. Refuge staff will ascertain whether the performance criteria has been met by visual assessment. 5. The water dispersal rate of the water source is 10 gallons per minute. 6.
