PRE-BID WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER 2010 AT 10:00 A.M. AT MATES BLDG 1460, FT. RILEY, KS 66442. PROPOSALS ARE DUE FRIDAY, 24 SEPTEMBER 2010 NLT 2:00 P.M., CST. EMAIL PROPOSALS TO linda.j.criss@us.army.mi or fax to (785) 247-1642. PROJECT SUMMARY: 1. Tie into the existing pad mounted utility transformer lugs with a load break TEE and medium voltage cnoductors. 2. Install a new pad mount 1500KVA transformer, 12470V primary, 480Y/277v-3-phase secondary. a. Provide transformer pad and bollards for transformer protection. b. Install transformer on a new Vault. 3. Install a new 1600A, 480Y/277V, 3-phase, 4-wire switch with a 1500A trip setting circuit breaker. a. Provide CT's in the panelboard and meter to match the existing meter on the building exterior. 4. Route feeds thru the building to new wall mounted junction box for fture use by owner. 5. Replace existing bollards around existing switchgear to provide enhanced protection of the switchgear.
