- Open Competition - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - FA9300-10-R-5045 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100820. NAICS is 443130 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00. Solicitation is for a commercial purchase of (3) Protective Camera Enclosures. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. AFFTC/PKTB, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the following item: (3) Protective Camera Enclosures. REQUIREMENTS: SPECIFICATION FOR PROTECTIVE CAMERA ENCLOSURES Description: Three (3) Protective Camera Enclosures for Phantom model 310 high-speed digital cameras with F-mount to accept Nikon type zoom and fixed focal length lenses. This purchase includes the following: 1. QD-5 quick-release internal camera mount with DT-5W plate 2. Square glass window, optically flat & tempered 4" x 6" with anti-reflection coating on both sides 3. Approximate housing size: 26"l x 12"w x 10"h 4. Approximate weight 55 pounds 5. Inlet fan with filter and exhaust port 6. Base plate of machined aluminum 0.5 inches thick 7. Electrical cable feed-thru holes in the base, with cable clamps 8. Internal terminal strip for AC power to camera, fan etc. 9. Multiple hole pattern drilled & tapped in the base plate to accept the QD-5 camera mount at selectable fore & aft lens locations 10. Removable cover has ¼" O-ring around its entire perimeter to seal the housing when mated to the base plate 11. Four butterfly type latches on the cover to secure it to the base 12. Outer finish Missile Range white paint 13. Inside finish flat black paint 14. 5 drilled & tapped holes on bottom surface of the base plate Delivery: 90 DARO Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.
