- Satcom Equipment Info This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-10-Q-0102. This RFQ is for an offeror to provide the items listed below to the HDI Federal Center in Battle Creek, MI. This is a brand name or equal requirement. Any quote in response to this RFQ must meet the following: The Rugged Portable Communication Package (RPCP) must meet the voice and data requirements for all DLA's Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Contingency Support Operations; to include Management Software for controls and configuration of the RPCP to reduce the need for IT staff in the field. It must enable the delivery of data and VoIP and PBX functions. A simple user interface must provide: access to individual components, equipment configuration backup/restore capability, and dashboard for device health monitoring, wizards for automating complex yet common tasks, and ability to alert from multiple devices. Must have the capability to integrate into the Cisco call manager and call manager express for a complete solution. Training on the Cisco (3 days) and other system equipment (2 days Pacstar Equipment listed) for up to 5 Government personnel is required. Only NEW equipment is being solicited. Remanufactured or refurbished equipment, as defined in FAR 11.001, is technically unacceptable. Trade-in or exchange of old equipment is not available. If an "or equal" product is offered, please provide technical data in sufficient detail to show that the system offered meets the requirements of this RFQ. The offeror shall provide a price for each item offered and a total amount for all items offered. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror who has the lowest price and is technically acceptable. Requirement is FOB Destination. Please include shipping with quote.
