PRE-BID WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER 2010 AT 1:00 P.M., BLDG 636, FORBES FIELD, TOPEKA, KS. PROPOSALS DUE FRIDAY, 24 SEPTEMBER 2010 AT 2:00 P.M., email to linda.j.criss@us.army.mil or fax to (785) 274-1642. PROJECT SUMMARY: Project is comprised of the demolition and removal of the existing deteriorated and heaving asphalt roadway, crub, and guttering which services the AASF hangars, multipole vehicle storage bull pens, and a Aviation Unit OPS Facility. The project includes the construction of a new road surface in its place. The new road will be having compacted sub-base, 6 inches of pavement per CFMO Best Practices for pavement and Roadways. The project also includes site grading and drainage necessary to insure positive drainage away from each structure in all directions, and associated new storm sewer lines, inlets, and accessory design elements.
