- Description
- Strategic Systems Programs intends to negotiate a new contract with JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. of Fairfax, VA. The contractor will provide technical services, program support, assessments and special studies and systems engineering in support of TRIDENT II Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) program, D5 Life Extension (LE), renewal of the Strategic Weapons System (SWS), subsystem and components. These requirements include TRIDENT II SWS integration into the US OHIO Class SSBN Replacement platform and the US/UK Common Missile Compartment (CMC), system engineering support for the Integrated Nuclear Weapon Support subsystem (INWSS) and TRIDENT II D5 Launcher subsystem, and Test Facility planning and coordination. The effort will include concept design development and definition; demonstration; validation and testing, engineering processes, and life cycle assessment. This contract will be negotiated and awarded to JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. at 5331 Kipp Court, Fairfax, VA 22032-2948.
