- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N4155710RC176FS, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. This procurement is a 100% HUBZone set-aside IAW FAR 19.1305. The NAICS code is 336212 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: CLIN 0001- (Qty 5 EA) TRAMONT POWERTRAK FUEL TANK TRAILER with integral base tank SECONDARY containment weatherproof sub-base fuel tank with diked containment basin (200 GALLON) Rainshield in tank extended past enclosure 2 additional baffle 4 U channel support cross members 4"(inch) NPT VFA Package (low fuel & basin alarm, 2 "(inch) normal vent, 2"(inch) fill cap, emergency Vents) Velvac fuel cap (used typically on mobile applications) Top mounted basin alarm 18,000 pounds dual axle trailer, electric brakes, (2) Read adj jack stands, (1) Front Adjustable jack stand, steel fender with non-skid surface, reflective conspicuity tape on sides and back, pintle or 2 5/16 inch coupler ball hitch. Tie downs brkts for shipping ICC running lights with 6 pole connector plug - BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Requested Items are brand name OR EQUAL. Equal items must include all requested parts and measurements. Items should be shipped 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to 36 CES/CEOIP Unit 14004 Box 28 Bldg 20010 FPO AP, Andersen AFB Guam, 96543. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov and shall be considered for award. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail, by Thursday 16 September 2010, 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
