- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is soliciting firm-fixed price quotations to provide Milk and Dairy Products to the Nutrition and Food Service and the Veterans Canteen Service on an "as needed" basis at the following facilities: VA Medical Center North Chicago, North Chicago, IL; Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI; Tomah VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI; and the Middleton VA Hospital, Madison, WI. Contract period of performance is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their quote. Offerors shall be evaluated on price and past performance. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards by medical centers to the offeror(s) representing the best value to the Government. The small business size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 311511 is 500 employees. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about September 7, 2010.
