- ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.5 to EXECUTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS, LLC, 6901 Rockledge Drive, Suite 600, Bethesda, MD 20827-0076. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (PSA) -- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. EIS is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements due to the unique capability to provide support and service for the SAS software. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to offer the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 12:00pm DST on 10 Sep 2010. The Environmental Laboratory has a continual requirement to maintain existing SAS software licenses on an annual basis. Executive Information Systems, LLC, is the only vendor that will provide the proprietary SAS software for Environmental Laboratory's users. Maintenance and support renewal on this product by EIS is required to continue use of the SAS software currently being used. These licenses are used in a variety of ways to support detailed and constant statistical and forecasting analysis of EL research. This correspondence is referenced by GSA Contract No. GS-35F-0170K
