- Description
- The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), intends to solicit for and the issue a sole source, fixed-price purchase order, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to American Science and Engineering, Inc. (AS&E) located at 829 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821-3907, to provide annual maintenance on seven x-ray inspection machines manufactured by AS&E. A Justification and Approval will be prepared in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c). This purchase order will include the following: Line item 0001 Annual maintenance for American Science and Engineering, Inc x-ray inspection machine. Model: 66Z Plus. Quantity: 3; Line Item 0002 Annual maintenance for American Science and Engineering, Inc x-ray inspection machine. Model 101 XL. Quantity: 1; Line Item 0003 Annual maintenance for American Science and Engineering, Inc x-ray inspection machine. Model: Gemini. Quantity: 1; and CLIN 0004 Annual maintenance for American Science and Engineering, Inc x-ray inspection machine. Model: 299-05-0001. Quantity: 1. Any questions and/or comments must be received in this office not later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on September 17, 2010, in order to be considered.
