Other applications include calculation of tumor volume before and after drug treatment, ex vivo imaging of various tissues post-animal sacrifice to confirm location of cell signals and the ability to rapidly quantitate changes in fluorophore or luciferase reporter expression in cells cultured in standard microplates. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties that believe they can meet these needs with an equal product must furnish sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements no later than 12:00 pm, September 21, 2010. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses received will be reviewed however; a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Memphis VAMC will proceed with a sole source procurement with Caliper LifeScience. Email or fax your questions to the attention of Stacey Chumney.
