Description
RECOVERYCAVE 116245, Repair Structural Steel and Lead Paint Abatement on Primary Elevator Shaft Project. Architect and Engineering Services for Industrial Hygiene Monitoring. TAS::14 1041::TAS NAICS: 541330 "This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act." Architect-Engineering Design Services. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO ANDREWS AND ANDERSON ARCHITECTS, CONTRACT NUMBER 1443C2000800300, as a logical follow-on task order Andrews & Anderson Architects and the subcontractors on their IDIQ Team have been involved in the project from the initial scoping through mock construction evaluations. To actively seek and procure the services of any other A&E firm to participate in the completion of Industrial Hygiene Monitoring would be a detriment to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, to the National Park Service, and to the U.S. Department of Interior. A firm other than Andrews & Anderson would have a difficult time getting up to speed on the investigations, analyses, and conclusions made to date on this unusual and highly technical project. Bringing in another firm would surely cost the Federal Government more money and more time and would jeopardize awarding this ARRA project by the end of fiscal year 2010.
