- The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Prevention and Public Health Fund Financial Management Office Synopsis of PPHF Project Title: Health Reform Implementation OPDIV: CDC/OCOO/Financial Management Office Summary: The purpose of this contract includes project management, planning and implementation, evaluation and reporting, communication and training as it relates to Affordable Care Act funding. Independent Government Estimate: $937,841 Period of performance: 9/1/2010 - 7/20/11 Goals: The Health Reform Implementation (FMO) is responsible for managing the financial operational aspects of the Affordable Care Act for CDC. Use of Funds: The funds will be utilized to procure service in order to meet the following objective: Structure and implement business processes to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate the actions conducted by CDC CIOs when exercising authorities presented in the Affordable Care Act. Affected Populations: N/A Degree of Competition: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a delivery order against a CDC Blanket Purchase Agreement HHSD2002009M29199B to Deloitte Consulting, LLP, which was previously competed and awarded in FY 2009.
