Official Request for Quote, Hill AFB Utah Project/Requirement Details: Hill AFB is requesting a quotation based on the required service as attached to this posting and as stated below. This requirement is restricted to small businesses only, designated by the Small Business Administration (SBA). This service is requested to be delivered within 30 days of award. Estimated award date for the contract will be September 15, 2010. Your quotation must be in our office no later than 2:00 P.M. (MDST) September 13, 2010. NAICS Code: 562998 FSC Code: J046 Class Code: J SBA Applicability & Size Standard and Set Aside: 100% Small Business Set Aside. Size standard is $12.5 M Required Items/Products: 0001: Contractor shall provide complete carbon change out service IAW Performance Work Statement dated 04 June 2010. TOTAL PRICE: $_____________________________ (FFP) Evaluation of Proposals: Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation, which shall be considered. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in accordance with the solicitation and the ensuing final agreement. The Operational Contracting Branch at Hill AFB Utah will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Delivered Price (please quote FOB destination) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
