- Amendment Three SF 30, Revised Wi 304, and additional references The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command Ship Support Unit San Diego has a requirement for the upcoming mid-term availability of the USNS SCHIRRA (T-AKE 8). This procurement and the services required under N40443-10-R-0214, is restricted to MSR/ABR qualified Marine Industry contractors. Services will be performed while the USNS WALLY SCHIRRA is located in Everett, WA. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to start on/about 12 October 2010 for a period of twenty-eight (28) days. The following is a list of work items to be included in the work package: 101 Install Deck Drain. 102 Spill Tank Modification 103 Empty Clean Gas Free Repair Test 3C DFM 4 34 0 and Pump Room Spaces 201 Exhaust Transition Piece Inspections 202 Annual FME Automation Testing 301 Shore Power Meter Installation 302 Failsafes Equipment Monitors Installation 303 HV Breaker and Contactors Maintenance 304 UPS PLC and Thermographic Inspection Surveys 305 Switchboard Cleaning Support 403 Periodic Safety Radio Survey 502 APPLETON Marine Cargo Cranes Annual Inspection and Services 503 EDG Annual Testing 602 Liferaft Recertification 603 Lifeboat Davit Grease Line Install 604 Lifeboat Annual Certification 605 01 Level PRC Deck Repairs and Installation 606 SCBA Annual Inspection 607 PRC Non Skid Installation 608 Underwater Hull Inspection Paint Repairs and Propeller Polishing 610 Annual RHIB Boat Maintenance 611 Galley Equipment Calibration 801 Laundry Exhaust Duct Cleaning 802 Galley Exhaust Duct Cleaning The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is 16 August 2010.
