- The Directorate of Contacting at Fort Drum, NY is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to industry for services related to transporting and installing hydraulic attachments on a Case 580. Services will include transporting the Government owned equipment to and from Fort Drum, NY, providing and installing the attachments or proper hydraulics and couplings for the attachments, and providing training on the new attachments after delivery. SUBJECT SOLICITATION WILL BE 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The successful contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform all work in connection with the above without voiding the manufacturers warranty from Case. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about September 01, 2010. The DUE DATE for quotes shall be a minimum of 10 days after actual issuance/posting on Federal Business Opportunities. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811310-Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $7 million. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference RFQ Number W911S2-10-T-3021.
