Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) The United States Air Force, 88th Air Base Wing, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking potential sources to provide a template system that will act as the chief-complaint system for the hospital at Wright-Patterson AFB. Emergency Physician documentation must use an easy circle and backslash method or comparable method that quickly captures pertinent data. Patient data must be easily captured at the bedside. Template shelving units must be provided that offer convenient access to the templates. Templates must pertain to Trauma/Pediatrics or Medicine. Shelving units must clearly indicate whether the chief complaint templates pertain to Trauma/Pediatrics or Medicine. The organization of the templates needs to be reinforced by homunculi images on either side of the unit. Template systems should be capable of covering the current annual volume estimate of 25,704 patients. Training on the template system is required. The contract line items will be firm-fixed price. Firms responding should specify their products which meet the above specifications and provide detailed product information to show clear technical compliance. When submitting your capabilities package, please state whether or not you can meet this requirement, whether or not you think the requirement is overly restrictive and the estimated amount of time it would take to complete this project from the date of contract award. If you believe you can meet this requirement but take exception to any of the items listed above, please state these in your capabilities package with a brief description of why. Also, if you find any of the specifications to be overly restrictive, please state these items and why. Additionally, sales history including recent commercial companies sold to should be included to determine commerciality. The Air Force anticipates eventually conducting a competitive acquisition for this award. All interested firms shall submit information demonstrating their capabilities to quickly produce the system within a short/urgent time-frame. Firms responding should indicate whether they are, or are not, a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, or a woman owned business. The general definition of a small business is one that is independently owned and operated, is not dominant in the field of operation in which it is proposing on Air Force contracts and with its affiliates; and the annual revenue does not exceed $25 million. NAICS Code to be used for this acquisition is 511210. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose. Capabilities package: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities and product specifications related to this effort.
