Description
J&A for H-1 Upgrades program. The Naval Air Systems Command awarded a modification to contract N00019-10-C-0035 to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc (BHTI), 600 Hurst Blvd, Hurst TX 76053 on an other than full and open competition basis for a base period and two - one year options for acquisition logistic support requirements for the H-1 aircraft and peculiar support equipment. Logistics support include, but is not limited to, logistics management support, maintenance planning, design interface, supply support/material support, technical data, computer resources and software support, distribution and inventory management/packaging, handling, storage and transportation, configuration management, supportability analysis, component repair and overhaul, training, technical manuals and technical liaison support. Bell Texton is the designer, developer and sole producer of the aircraft and the only known source that possesses the data, technical skills and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance and support characteristics of the AH-1Z and UH-1Y to fulfill this need in a timely manner.
