- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THE ACTIONDESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT (NNS10AA84C). AS SUCH, THISOPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This action has beenawarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (PL 111-5). Incompliance with the ARRA, the Government posts this notice that modification 3 undercontract NNS10AA84C was issued to Trans Gulf Constructors, Inc. The ARRA work to beperformed as a result of this contract modification includes 1) add stiffener plates tothe w-beam post, increase base plate thickness, and increase fastener size, 2) modifypipe supports for loads from stress and flexibility analysis, and 3) increase steel platesizes and add anchors to pipe supports PS-1 thru PS-5.This modification is issued underan existing Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract which was awarded on a competitive basis. These changes are within the general scope of the contract and will extend the contractperiod of performance for 16 calendar days. Oral communications are not acceptable inresponse to this notice. This announcement is for information purposes only. Allquestions and/or concerns must be submitted in writing to the points of contact herein. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note 'B'.
