- . The contractor shall perform testing and preventative maintenance (maintenance as directed) from the point where high voltage power arrives to the area where the equipment serving the pier is located up to and including the power mounds on the pier. No ship service is included unless tests specifically indicate a need to observe power consumption from boats for load and power conditioning assessments The site that will be the subject of this contract is the power delivery system on the main pier at Coast Guard Island. This consists of Switch gears, Transformers and Power distribution mounds. The contractor is to provide service that will result in a staggered schedule for preventative maintenance and repair as needed. The contractor shall supply a list of all task that are deemed relevant and sufficient for a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. The United States Coast Guard shall supply all available relevant documentation. This shall include reports that were used for receiving the hardware to be serviced. These shall be included as samples. They are not to be construed as a complete list of tasks. Some of the reports and tests conducted may no longer be relevant in the capacity of a preventative maintenance program and there may be instances where tests and/or procedures are not included in this document that should be included. It is part of the service being solicited to develop an accurate and comprehensive list. This list shall be reviewed by the customer and shall be subject to customer input.
