- Description
- The National Park Service, Denver Service Center (DSC), seeks to issue a salvage contract The purpose of this contract is to salvage previously felled tree hazards and previously naturally fallen trees from within/adjacent to developed sites and within road corridors in Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Parks for use in an Engineered Log Jam (ELJ) associated with bridge reconstruction project. The NAICS code for this requirement is 115310, size standard $7.0M. This notice is a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 15 days of the date of publication of this combined synopsis / solicitation will be considered by the Govenment. Email quotes at ladonna.collins@nps.gov. Responses should include the completed written capabilities, the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number and identification of the firm's business size in accordance with the size standard. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation announcement for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and 6.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation and incorporate provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29. This announcement is issued with RFQ #R2051100261which includes complete SOW and solicitation documents; written capabilities are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number Q2051100261 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) tree salvaging in Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Parks 93271-9651. The NAICS code is 115310. The purpose of this contract is to salvage previously felled tree hazards and previously naturally fallen trees from within/adjacent to developed sites and within road corridors in Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Parks for use in an Engineered Log Jam (ELJ) associated with bridge reconstruction project. The quantity of trees for removal and transport to the burn pit/woodyard is 150. The trees range in size from 30" diameter by 25' to 14" diameter by 15'. Written capabilities are due by September 15, 2010 by 4:00p (MT). Written capabilities will be accepted via email to ladonna.collins@nps.gov. All offerors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov
