- FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ANNOUNCEMENT PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of the Interior National Business Center, Acquisitions Service Directorate on behalf o f the Aviation Management Directorate intends to solicit for snow removal and hauling services as follows: ISSUING CONTRACT OFFICE: NATIONAL BUSINESS CENTER ACQUISITION SERVICES, ANCHORAGE 4405 LEAR COURT ANCORAGE, AK 99502CONTRACT OFFICER: V. MICHELE WATERSPHONE/FAX 907-271-5021/907-271-6446EMAIL MICHELE_WATERS@NBC.GOV DESCRIPTION This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice Only. The Department of the Interior, Aviation Management Directorate has a requirement for snow removal and hauling services at 4405 Lear Court, Anchorage Alaska 99502. The successful contractor will be responsible for plowing the entire lot to include automobile parking areas, aircraft taxiway and aircraft tie down parking areas, in addition to clearing snow/ice from pedestrian sidewalks and walkways and salting as designated. The anticipated contract period will be from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, with four, one-year options. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is August 31, 2010 with a projected closing date of September 22, 2010. It will be a requirement that the successful awardees be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will be posted here as well as http://amd.nbc.gov under "Current Solicitations" under Business Opportunities. This procurement will be 100% Set Aside for small business concerns.
