- Western Area Power Administration, Desert South West Region, has aconstructionproject which consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision,materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipmentnecessary in the construction project to install 5 new government-furnished galvanized steel pole structures to include concrete foundations,government-furnished insulators and contractor furnished hardwareidentified asOracle-Tucson 115/138-kV Transmission Line Steel Pole Relocation, Phase II. The project magnitude is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Place ofperformanceis Pima County, AZ 85706. The solicitation, specifications and drawings,andany subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format,downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopydocuments will be distributed. Interested parties can download thesolicitation at http://e-center.doe.gov or http://www.fbo.gov on or aboutSeptember 15, 2010 and the projected proposal opening date is October 15,2010. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2011. This solicitation is advertised as fullandopen competition. The acquisition is subject to the North AmericanIndustryClassification System (NAICS) code of 237310 with a size standard of $33.5million.
