- Description
- The United States Transportation Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with UBM Aviation for Department of Transportation Form 41 Financial database. This information is used to support the $3 Billion Civilian Reserve Air Fleet operations. The contract will be firm fixed price with base year with 4 1-year options. The anticipated award date for this acquisition is 1 October 2010. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Governments requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
