- This acquisition is for the purchase of NSN 4710-01-551-2896, Tube Assembly, Metal. Quantity 360 EA is needed and a 100% option quantity of 360 EA more will be included in the solicitation. Solicitation will be issued unrestricted using other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) since this is a 3H coded item and is available from only one source. The Government does not have sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase the part from other than the current source. Approved cage code is 77445 (United Technologies), part number 4081849-01. FOB is Destination, with deliveries to be made to the DDC at San Joaquin, CA. Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination. Issue date of solicitation is an estimate and will be available for download in FedBizOpps on or about 09/15/10. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation.
