- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from Ocean Optics, Inc., 830 Douglas Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698-5732, a quantity of one (1) Near IR Spectrometer, model number NIRQUEST512-2.2; a quantity of one (1) Visible Spectrometer, model number HR2000+ES); a quantity of one (1) Cross-platform Spectroscopy Operating Software, model number SPECTRASUITE; a quantity of two (2) Visible Optics Cables, model number P400-5-UV-VIS); a quantity of two (2) Near IR Optics cables, model number P400-5-VIS-NIR; a quantity of two (2) Calibrated Tungsten Halogen Light Source, model number HL-2000; a quantity of one (1) Neutral Density Filter, model number OF-IN-D2.0; and a quantity of one (1) Cosine Corrector, model number CC-3-UV-S. Only this specific make and model will satisfy the Government ™s minimum requirements with regard to the configuration and performance. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 10:00 AM ET on 7 SEPTEMBER 2010. The anticipated award date is 14 SEPTEMBER 2010. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
