- The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will result in the award of an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. The purpose of this procurement is to provide support services for background investigations that are related to the completion of background investigations on Federal Government applicants, employees, and contractors performing sensitive work, and individuals being investigated pursuant to Federal regulatory requirements. This requirement will include, but is not limited to Switchboard; Screening / Scheduling of Investigative Materials; Case File Maintenance; Imaging / Microfilm; Pre-Review; Case Closings (for System Closings and Automated Closings); Mailroom; Telephone Liaison with Agency; Post closing (File Release / Adjudicative Support);. The RFP will be released and may be downloaded electronically at the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on/about September 16, 2010. Proposals will be due on/about November 16, 2010. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer and will be considered for award.
