- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5. The Air Armament Center Operational Contacting Division is seeking to identify sources that can provide timely, accurate, and complete medical transcription services/reports in support of the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Contractor shall provide medical transcription services from dictation (e.g., voice recordings, hand written notes, or typed drafts), which covers a wide range of medical specialties. The contractor shall provide dictation/transcription software, hardware, and off-site servers that have been DIACAP certified for storage and retrieval of transcribed provider dictations. The contractor hosted system is logically and physically separated from the systems/networks hosted at the same facility. In order to comply with Department of Defense Network Security Regulations and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rulings, contractor shall use the 256 Bit AES SSL Encryption Secure Socket Layering protocol for data transmission. The period of performance will consists of base year with four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561410, with small business standard size of $7M. The Government will not award a contract solely on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice, nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Any interested parties shall ensure that they are registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). To register in CCR, go to http://www.ccr.gov or call 1-888-227-2423 for assistance. This sources sought is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses should address how you will meet the Government's needs according to the description in the first paragraph, list previous contracts with like requirements that your company has been awarded, and contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code, Phone Number, and Size of Business pursuant to NAICS code 561410, small business size standard is $7M. In addition to the size of business, indicate all classes of business that fit your firm: i.e. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, etc. Responses are limited to (3) three pages. Your response must be received no later than 10 September 2010 1600 CST. All prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of all other information pertaining to the synopsis and solicitation.
