Description
Attachment 3 FAR Clauses Attachment 2: Volume II Pricing Worksheet Attachment 1 Small Boat Mounted Radiation Detection System Requirements REQUEST FOR QOUTE HSHQDC-10-Q-00466 The U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), on behalf of the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO), Product Acquisition Deployment Directorate (PADD), has a requirement for two (2) Boat Mounted preventative rad/nuc detection systems with isotopic identification systems. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a best value procurement and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. Oral offers will not be accepted and quotes shall be valid until 30 October 2010. The purpose of effort represented in the attached System Requirement Document (SRD) is to provide two (2) boat mounted systems used for detection of rad/nuc materials that could be transported onboard small vessels of less than 50 feet. Detection systems and components must be sized so that they can be mounted on a 25 foot detection boat. Systems need to have a minimum footprint and be capable of being mounted on the exterior of the boat without interfering in other mission areas or safety aspects of the boat such as hand rails, RADARs, or navigation systems. Installation of the systems will be handled by the Government.
