- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) R10PS30386 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing, and the size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, has a requirement to design, supply, and install two (2) cantilever type prefabricated metal parking shelter shade structures. Please see attached Statement of Work and bid schedule for size options. The size ordered will be determined once all quotes are received based upon lowest price. The RFQ contains the following: Statement of Work with a description with quantities, bid schedule, and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due Tuesday, September 10, 2009, by 4:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Contracting Office (LC-3110), P.O. Box 61470, Boulder City, NV 89006; or for expedited delivery 500 Fir Street, Boulder City, NV 89005. In order to make a determination in accordance with Far 9.104(1), vendors shall provide a list of three (3) references for comparable relevant projects completed in the last five (5) years. This is for a responsibility determination only. Award will be based on lowest price. A site visit will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010, 8:00 a.m., local time, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam Warehouse, Highway 93, Boulder City, NV 89005. Please RSVP no later than COB, Thursday, September 2nd if you plan to attend. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information.
