- SOW Wage Rates 2005-2153 R13 6-15-2010 Site Visit T&C Insurance Biobased SF 18 RFQ The US Department of Agricultural Research Service in Hilo, HI has a requirement for a contractor to provide all services necessary for the accomplishment of the contract project and such required services shall be in accordance with the requirements as described herein and on attached contract documents. Background: The USDA/ARS-PBARC located at 928 Stainback Hwy. in Hilo Hawaii wants to add a catchment system next to a Lexan roofed Conley greenhouse. Turnkey supply and installation, including all necessary engineering and permitting, of a 14,000 gallon galvanized catchment tank with concrete ring and all associated plumbing, valves, filters, and 7.5 HP pump with pressure vessel. The contractor will be responsible for connecting the greenhouse gutter to the catchment and all site preparation and any necessary trenching. The out let pipe will be completely plumbed and terminated with a shut off valve to be connected to the greenhouse at a later date by the government. Catchment tank shall have Gravel base and concrete ring for support Cover supports and mesh An overflow drain micron sediment filter, manifolded together If necessary to provide 60 GPM of water flow at the outlet valve) Pressure gauge, appropriate check valves and shut off valves All associated intake, drain and outlet plumbing normally used in the catchment industry Contractor to provide and install a 7.5 hp delivery pump and all associated electrical. Appropriate sized pressure vessel to match pump Contractor to provide concrete pad All associated pressure controls, wiring and safety devices All associated valves and plumbing Construction shall comply with the requirements of ARS Facilities Design Standards Manual 242.1, ARS Energy Management Plan 134.2 and all other applicable federal, state and local code requirements as well as current industry standards, (i.e. UBC, UPC, NFPA, UL, ASTM, ACI, NEC, NEMA. etc,) and health and safety codes, in effect at the time of contract award.
