- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), in support of theProgram Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications,Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), Navy Communications Program Office(PMW/A 170), intends to issue a sole source RFP, under the authority of 10U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, to Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston PostRoad East, Marlborough, MA 01752. The contract will be Indefinite DeliveryIndefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) / Firm Fixed Price (FFP)contract with five one-year ordering periods. Contract award is anticipated inJune 2011. The proposed contract will provide for highly specializedengineering services to meet the Navy's Satellite Communications (SATCOM)program requirements to include the following systems: Extremely HighFrequency (EHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Global Broadcast System (GBS)and Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) and ancillary equipment. The contract willallow Engineering Change (EC) upgrades, hardware refurbishment, failureanalysis, obsolescence study, software maintenance, and the procurement ofreplacement components and upgrade kits as necessary to meet emergentrequirements for the aforementioned SATCOM systems. The contract will alsoinclude the procurement of technical manuals and Contract Data RequirementsLists (CDRLs). Responses to thisnotice must be received no later than 05 August 2010 at 09:00 AM San Diegolocal time.
