- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is N00244-10-T-0366. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 effective June 12, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 611513 and the Small Business Standard Size is $7,000,000.00. This is Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this RFP. The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description of the applicable provisions and clauses. The government is seeking for new materials only. All responsible Businesses capable of meeting the requirements of the solicitation are encouraged to respond. The announcement will close on 3 September 2010 at 2:00 p.m. PST. Pre-bid inquiries shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, james.t.maduke@navy.mil. Central Contractor Registration (CCR): Contractors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the contractor to meet all specifications and requirements of the solicitation.
