Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-37. The Veterans Health Administration at American Lake, Tacoma, Washington is soliciting quotes for a contractor to provide exterior window washing services for the VA Puget Sound Healthcare Services at the American Lake campus in Tacoma WA. The following Contract Line Item is relevant to this procurement. CLIN0001: The Contractor shall perform exterior window washing services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for Building No: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 16, 17, 61, 62, 71, 81, 85, 111, 132, 143, 148, and Residential Quarters. Period of Performance: 15 September 2010 through 30 September 2010. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The Request for Proposal (RFQ) number is VA-260-10-RQ-1231. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 and the small business size standard is 16.5 million dollars. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. The estimated issue date is 31 August 2010, and the anticipated closing date is 13 September 2010 at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial (JAN 2004), applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated using the best value selection method. The following are the evaluation factors to be used: Technically acceptable, price, delivery time and past performance. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (OCT 2003) applies to this acquisition. All offers must include a completed copy of this provision.
