Description
The Senior Project Development Officer (PDO) works in USAID/Colombia’s Program Office in Bogota, Colombia and reports to the Supervisory Program Officer or designate. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Mission’s extensive design schedule that includes four new major designs and several smaller ones in various stages of development. S/he will work closely with design teams and Mission offices to shepherd Mission staff through the design work. S/he plays an important quality assurance role, advising technical teams and offices on Agency and Mission policies, procedures, and guidelines related to new activity design. In addition to maintaining the design schedule and reviewing design inputs, the PDO will also draft or co-draft certain sections of the design documents. S/he may also be assigned other specific tasks related to key Program Office functions as the need arises.
